Now, I'm currently going through RPCS3, the PS3 emulator, in order to experience Driver San Francisco. I felt like a kid again just playing through the first few levels. But thanks to Xenia, I managed to experience my childhood again at 60 FPS and amazing visuals. Years before that, I only ever saw the remastered version through the marketing screenshots, but I didn't have a 360, so I gave up any hope of even playing it. Goldeneye 64 was a game I was obsessed with when I was a kid, so imagine my excitement when I heard that news. I finished RDR2 a few weeks prior to that, so it really felt like I was continuing where the story left of in 2.īut then, out of nowhere, the cancelled XBLA copy of Goldeneye 64 Remastered was released onto the internet. It was a fantastic experience, even with the techincal issues with the emulator. I played Midnight Club LA first, a childhood game of mine. Persona 3 just gave me an experience of a lifetime, so I moved to Xenia next, the XBOX 360 emulator. Still, I had a great time with Midnight Club 3. I managed to push to near the end, but stopped playing because I had my fill with it.

If I had known 4 would be released on PC years later, I would have waited, but nevermind that. My god! I'm so glad I gave 3/4 a shot because Persona 3 became my favorite game of all time, and Persona 4 was also an excellent experience. I came in expecting nothing, because I had never heard of Persona before, even though Persona 5 was already released by then. Even with the techincal issues that plauged the emulator throughout my entire playthrough, I still pushed through to the end because of how good the game was.
